Lydia A. Lawhon is a doctoral candidate in the Environmental Studies Program at the University of Colorado. She holds an A.B. from Dartmouth College and a Masters of Environmental Management from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. Her work focuses on understanding the role of local knowledge and participation in the policy process for entrenched conflicts over natural resource management.
